Under the direction of Co-Founder / Creative Director Lisa Costin and Co-Founder / Event Director Somer Khouri Bedran – A Charming Fête practices a highly personalized planning and design approach with a dedication to producing refined, thoughtfully designed events and unforgettable experiences. 

A Charming Fête uses a team philosophy to ensure that each client is fully tapped into their extensive collective knowledge and experience.

Lisa Costin . Co-Founder + Creative Director

As Creative Director of A Charming Fete, Lisa oversees and directs the design aesthetic and creative quality of every contracted event and editorial project. With a maximum attention to detail and a carefully trained eye, creating refined and highly personal events is what she does best. Without a doubt, thoughtful design and on-point details are imperative to a gorgeous and memorable event but Lisa’s understanding of styling, florals, careful editing and her willingness to think outside of the box will make all of the difference in your experience. She holds a Marketing degree and an MBA from John Carroll University. She works side by side with Co-Founder, Somer Khouri Bedran to manage all business operations. Lisa enjoys drawing inspiration from her home life as well, where she is wife to a wonderful husband and mother of two little girls.

Somer Khouri Bedran . Co-Founder + Event Director

As Event Director of A Charming Fete, Somer oversees the planning, production and execution of contracted events and also directs weddings and high profile social and corporate events for her own clients. Somer manages business operations side by side with Co-Founder, Lisa Costin. Somer prides herself in planning and organizing every last detail to perfection and works tirelessly to ensure flawless execution and crisis aversion. She finds it most rewarding to watch an event come to fruition, to see the vision fully achieved and the overjoyed emotional reaction of clients when their expectations are exceeded. Somer holds a BSBA Marketing degree from John Carroll University and she also studied at Virginia Marti College of Art and Design. Somer is a wife and mother of three little ones and tries to seize the opportunity every day to create wonderful and precious memories. 

Lauren Hibbard . Design Director / Production Manager

Lauren is one of our most talented lead designers, thoughtfully planning and styling the most intricate and detailed weddings and events. Lauren works side-by-side with each of our lead planners to create magic in terms of visual aesthetic, overall event production and design. She can take any event to the next level and enjoys thinking outside of the box and is always bringing new and fresh ideas to the table. Her work is style-setting and innovative with a focused attention to detail.You can find her on the day of the wedding seamlessly producing and directing setup and installation. Her kind and genuine nature brings comfort and assurance to any situation and she maintains an unparalleled level of calm and expertly navigates with efficiency, ease, and kindness. Her design work has been featured in top industry publications such as BRIDES and The Knot magazine. Lauren studied event planning and design at Akron University and is a certified wedding planner and a natural born creative. In her spare time she loves spending quality time with her daughter.  

Maggie Mitchell . Event Planner / Wedding Planner

Maggie’s longstanding career in the upscale hospitality business led her to discover her passion for event planning. She continues to execute successful, flawless events for A Charming Fete in a more creative and ever-changing environment. Maggie has a knack for producing original and highly personalized events and works collaboratively with her clients to realize their vision. She strives to take their ideas and dreams and turn them into something tangible and real. Although she loves planning social and corporate events, her heart lies in creating and orchestrating unforgettable weddings that remind her of that magical day she married her best friend and partner in life.

Erica Lasky . Event Planner / Wedding Planner

Erica is a Cleveland native, wanderluster, sports fanatic and animal lover. She graduated with a business degree from Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama but chose to return home to Ohio to pursue Event Planning as her passion. With a love for people and beautiful events, Erica loves working with clients on a collaborative vision and bringing it to life in the most harmonious fashion. Her organization skills and attention to detail are always on point. 

Jena Tekavec . Event Planner / Wedding Planner

Jena brings a cool breath of fresh air to the team. She offers a fresh take on tradition and has an eye for the modern and chic. She is versatile, organized and quick thinking and works until every detail is perfect. Jena has a "yes" attitude and stops at nothing to exceed client expectations. She has proven a key asset to our team and continues to amaze us with her work. Aside from event planning, Jena has a passion for fashion and loves forecasting the latest wedding trends. She keeps us on our toes and ahead of the curve. Jena has a degree in Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development from Ohio University.

Renee Tantillo. Event Planner / Wedding Planner

Renee brings a variety of skills to our team with an educational background in interior design, history of business management, and experience in the fashion industry. Inspired by both modern classics and current trends, Renee can relate to a wide spectrum of style preferences and plan a smoothly-run and highly-styled event.  With meticulous organizational skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and careful attention to detail, she assures flawless event execution. Whether you need assistance with logistics, design consulting and guidance or advice on the latest in fashion, Renee is your girl. 

Jenny Dale . Event Planner / Wedding Planner

Jenny comes from a long history of luxury wedding and event planning for the Ritz Carlton in Cleveland and in San Francisco and also independent wedding planning in both California and Ohio. With clients ranging from former presidents to iconic celebrities, she is experienced in meeting very high expectations in any given situation. Jenny's number one priority is to create and execute your dream day. Whatever your style, Jenny loves to design one of a kind experiences for her clients that will create memories they can cherish for a lifetime.
