Under the direction of Lisa Costin and Somer Khouri Bedran – A Charming Fête practices a highly personalized planning and design approach with a dedication to producing refined, thoughtfully designed events and unforgettable experiences. 

A Charming Fête uses a team philosophy to ensure that each client is fully tapped into their extensive collective knowledge and experience. Executing hundreds of weddings, private events, corporate events and editorial projects, their work is nationally recognized and can be found in many of the top industry publications.

Lisa Costin . Co-Founder + Creative Director

As Creative Director of A Charming Fete, Lisa oversees and directs the design aesthetic and creative quality of every contracted event and editorial project. With a maximum attention to detail and a carefully trained eye, creating refined and highly personal events is what she does best. Without a doubt, thoughtful design and on-point details are imperative to a gorgeous and memorable event but Lisa’s understanding of styling, florals, careful editing and her willingness to think outside of the box will make all of the difference in your experience. She holds a Marketing degree and an MBA from John Carroll University. She works side by side with Somer to manage all business operations. Lisa enjoys drawing inspiration from her home life as well, where she is wife to a wonderful husband and mother of two little girls.

Somer Khouri Bedran . Co-Founder + Event Director

As Event Director of A Charming Fete, Somer oversees the planning, production and execution of contracted events and also directs weddings and high profile social and corporate events for her own clients. Somer manages business operations side by side with Lisa. Somer prides herself in planning and organizing every last detail to perfection and works tirelessly to ensure flawless execution and crisis aversion. She finds it most rewarding to watch an event come to fruition, to see the vision fully achieved and the overjoyed emotional reaction of clients when their expectations are exceeded. Somer holds a BSBA Marketing degree from John Carroll University and she also studied at Virginia Marti College of Art and Design. Somer is a wife and mother of three little ones and tries to seize the opportunity every day to create wonderful and precious memories. 

Lauren Hibbard . Design Director / Production Manager

Lauren is one of our most talented lead designers, thoughtfully planning and styling the most intricate and detailed weddings and events. Lauren works side-by-side with each of our lead planners to create magic in terms of visual aesthetic, overall event production and design. She can take any event to the next level and enjoys thinking outside of the box and is always bringing new and fresh ideas to the table. Her work is style-setting and innovative with a focused attention to detail.You can find her on the day of the wedding seamlessly producing and directing setup and installation. Her kind and genuine nature brings comfort and assurance to any situation and she maintains an unparalleled level of calm and expertly navigates with efficiency, ease, and kindness. Her design work has been featured in top industry publications such as BRIDES and The Knot magazine. Lauren studied event planning and design at Akron University and is a certified wedding planner and a natural born creative. In her spare time she loves spending quality time with her daughter.  

Maggie Mitchell . Senior Event Planner

Maggie’s longstanding career in the upscale hospitality business led her to discover her passion for event planning. She continues to execute successful, flawless events for A Charming Fete in a more creative and ever-changing environment. Maggie has a knack for producing original and highly personalized events and works collaboratively with her clients to realize their vision. She strives to take their ideas and dreams and turn them into something tangible and real. Although she loves planning social and corporate events, her heart lies in creating and orchestrating unforgettable weddings that remind her of that magical day she married her best friend and partner in life.

Erica Moran . Senior Event Planner

Erica is a Cleveland native, wanderluster, sports fanatic and animal lover. She graduated with a business degree from Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama but chose to return home to Ohio to pursue Event Planning as her passion. With a love for people and beautiful events, Erica loves working with clients on a collaborative vision and bringing it to life in the most harmonious fashion. Her organization skills and attention to detail are always on point. 

Kelly O’Connor . Senior Event Planner

Kelly comes to us with many years of extensive event experience. Her passion is creating unique and flawlessly coordinated events, ranging from weddings to corporate and social. Kelly enjoys connecting with clients and vendors, to create a one of a kind experience for all, and truly shines in the industry. She loves to travel and experience different cultures and religions, which has also been reflected in her career. Kelly has a true knack and interest in cultural weddings and events.

Kelly has a Bachelors of Arts degree, in Advertising & Public Relations, from Marietta College, where she studied a blend of art, event planning, design and PR. In her free time she enjoys vintage shopping and collecting, dining, baking and cooking as well as eclectic design. Kelly is passionate about animals and can often be found pet sitting and dog walking for many fury friends.

Lisa Kruse . Event Planner

Lisa graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Virginia Marti College and possesses several years of professional experience in the corporate retail and customer service industry. She chose to follow her passion for design and event management in a key role with A Charming Fête, planning and producing events in both corporate and private social event sector. Lisa enjoys working collaboratively with clients to bring their dreams to fruition in the most elevated fashion. In her free time, Lisa truly enjoys cooking and can be found in her kitchen whipping up some delicious cuisine, dining out with her husband or walking her dog, Maddie through the Metroparks.

Nikki Fee . Event Coordinator

Nikki graduated from John Carroll University with a Marketing degree and a minor in Peace, Justice and Human Rights and recently completed her MBA. Nikki found her passion for events through multiple years in the non-profit and fundraising sector . She loves helping clients create unforgettable moments and often works alongside Somer and Lisa on the most intricate and detailed events. Her love of bringing people together coupled with her warm yet detail oriented personality make her a dream to work with. In her free time, you can find Nikki spending time at the beach with friends and family or exploring Cleveland, grabbing a warm beverage at one of our city’s best coffee shops.
